Getting Started

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to make the process straightforward and not overwhelming.

Step 1: Schedule a Consultation

We begin with a brief 15-minute consultation. This is a chance for you to:

  • Ask questions
  • Get a sense of how I work
  • See if this feels like a good fit

There’s no pressure to move forward.

Step 2: Complete Intake Forms

If we decide to work together, you can download the intake forms and fill them out at your own pace before your first session.

These cover:

  • Basic background information
  • Consent for therapy and telehealth EMDR-specific information (if applicable)

Step 3: Begin Sessions

Sessions are held online and are typically 50 minutes.

We’ll start by getting a clearer understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to feel different. From there, we move at a pace that feels manageable.

If we’re doing EMDR work, we’ll begin by building enough stability before moving into processing.

If You’re Ready

If this feels like the right next step, you’re welcome to schedule a consultation. Or, if you have questions, feel free to reach out.

If you're a new client, please complete the following forms and bring them to your first session.

If you would like me to coordinate care with another provider (for example, your psychiatrist, primary care physician, etc.), complete this form:

Telehealth

All sessions are conducted online. You’ll need:

  • A private space
  • A reliable internet connection

You must be in California at the time of your session.

Rates and Insurance

Rates

$200 per 50-minute individual session.

$250 per 60 min EMDR session
$200 per 60-minute couples session.

Fees are due at each session unless another arrangement has been made previously.

Insurance

Upon request, I can provide you with a superbill. This means you pay my full fee and I give you a statement that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I cannot guarantee if or how much your insurance company will reimburse, but many of my clients receive some level of reimbursement for the therapy.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
